Reflections on my Easter vacation

So, my friend Chris came for Christmas (which was totally snowed out). It seemed only fair to visit for Easter (plus it fit best into schedules). It was overall a great trip. The fibromyalgia gave me some trouble, but was overcome by music, faith, and enthusiasm for the amazing things there are to see in Florida.

It was...indescribable how great it was to be inside Easter again. Bells, brass, timpani, an organ with all the stops pulled out, and choral music to blow your mind! An A above high C thrown in here and there put the icing on the cake. Plus it was Easter! The best celebration of the year! Bright and beautiful! I was surrounded by amazing people - the choir, the pastor, Chris...the only thing missing was my family and then it would have been...dare I say it...perfect.

I saw amazing things and want to go back and see more amazing things! A castle made of coral, oppulance on display in what can only be described as a dream home (not for me, but for some I suppose), alligators (you can keep 'em), coral in the water, coral on the beach, a turtle in a bay, practically naked people wandering past shops and all across the sand, standing at the ocean's edge...not enough! I want more!

I think I would be happiest traveling from place to place in an RV, singing in random church choirs that will have me, visiting all 58 national parks - with someone special at my side and Samson along for the ride. :)
