Had to share this one. Nikki took my paperclip cup out of the drawer, dumped them out and put them in her Halloween bucket. Then she took them out of the bucket and put them back in the cup. Then she put them back in the drawer right where she found them. She didn't lose a single one, either! Smart little "helper"! :)

Stuff
You know I love sharing pictures with everyone, but today I don't have any planned. There were several last time anyway. :)
So, I thought I'd just share what's been up over the last couple days.
Health:
Decidedly better than at the beginning of last week. Still having some sharper pains than prior, but nothing I haven't had before. Got an earache yesterday. It's better today, but still there. I've also started a little bit of a stuffy nose and a cough that's getting progressively more painful. I definitely have some swollen glands. Oh joy. I just worry about getting everyone (especially the babies) around me sick. It's probably just a cold. I'll drown it in orange juice...it's my way. :)
Fun things:
Saw my friend Michelle (D.) on Thursday. Always good to see a friend -- especially when it's been a long time.
I'm down to just one box to unpack and I'll finally be settled here in Justin's house.
My last "Arizona bill" payment was mailed out today. And the deposit refund was put in the mail to me today (they say).
I went to Bible study after church on Sunday. We studied Jonah...or some semblance of studied. Either way, I met some more people. I just don't remember all their names. One gave me a booklet that gives all sorts of information about the church. Get this! My picture is in it!! On the last page in the portion of the booklet describing what the LCMS church believes/professes was a picture from Ivy's baptism. It showed Pastor, Ivy and me! How fun is that! :-D
Today I made buckwheat chocolate pancakes. They were good! I also tripped and fell down. The swelling in my knee is going down and I have a really neat bruise in the shape of the metal strip on the floor between the carpet in the dining room and the vinyl in the kitchen. Justin and I called it my "triple klutz". :p
Job stuff:
I've sent out my resume a few more times and filled out some more applications. Nothing yet. Still living off the unemployment payments.
Others:
No insurance is a bad thing. Today I had to pay $138 and change for one of my prescriptions. Ugly!! A few days ago it was $50-something for one of the others. Ugh! I have an appointment in May with some "general assistance" thing through the state of Nebraska. We'll see.
I guess we could talk about the weather now. I think Chicago can relinquish it's "Windy City" title. It's crazy windy outside today. Makes it feel colder than 60-degrees and sunny. Tomorrow I think I heard will be more of the same. A little birdy tells me the Phoenix area is supposed to hit 100-degrees tomorrow. I'm thinking I'll take this over that. :p
Okay. I think that about does it. Nikki is picking up Cheese Nips from my floor. She hasn't quite figured out that when she runs, they bounce too much in the cup and go flying everywhere. It's actually pretty funny! :)
Alrighty! Everyone take care! Maybe I'll have more pictures next time. Pictures are worth a thousand words, right? Saves me from getting typing cramps in my hands! But you're all worth it even if I did let my hands cramp up! ;)

Easter
Hello!
I have been meaning to post Easter pictures but have been sick for the last couple of days. Seems I managed to trigger a bit of a replay of December when I got sick for so long. I am beginning to feel better, though. Today I have been up and around more. Lots to do! Too much! :)
I have some Easter pictures to share with everyone!
First, surprise! I ended up singing in Lord of Life's church choir on Easter morning -- at the first service anyway. We had to leave for Easter lunch at Grandma's before the second service. Sandra sang too, but unfortunately, she is behind someone so we can't see anything but the top of her head!
Here is the family picture we took after church...
You are not seeing things! Sandra's hair is blond. $500 to end up with blond hair! Sounds like it won't be staying that way, though. We all love her brunette look more, I think. :)
Now here are a few pictures from Grandma's house...
In order of appearance...First there was Nikki being silly with her toddler crayons I gave her for Easter. Justin is "supervising".
Then there is Ivy going after my cousin, Dan, while she's being held by my cousin, Keli.
The third picture is Ivy playing with her great-grandma. And you can get a good look at Sandra's blond hair!
Finally, this is me with my Grandma Geu. :)
Well, I think that's all a good representation of my Easter. Hope yours was great, too! :-D

Pictures I promised...
Here are the pictures from the move I promised you...
"Where will 'U' go next?" ...a mechanic in Santa Rosa, New Mexico apparently...
While we waited we checked out Santa Rosa's claim to fame. Besides being a stop along Route 66, Santa Rosa has "The Blue Hole". You have to be a certified diver to jump in the amazingly deep, amazingly blue water. (This is me and Samson checking it out...)
There was a diver there at the time who jumped in while everyone watched (that was after this picture was taken). Samson had a fit when he saw the guy go in. He barked and barked and tried to go in after him! I had to hold on tight to keep him from going in to fetch the fellow out!

Neat Weather
No pictures yet. Need to get them from Mom's camera and off my cell phone.
It's been gray, windy and off-and-on rainy all day. We had some really awesome thunder this evening. Nikki doesn't like it much, but no one else seems to mind...even the cats or Ivy. :)
It's supposed to keep going like this at least for tomorrow, too. With a high of 39-degrees...perfect for Palm Sunday! ;p
Well, it's getting late and I still have to shower...and eat ice cream. One must have her priorities! lol

Made it!
Made it to Nebraska to my brother's house at about 6:00 a.m. That was after a brutal two and a half day drive. Oy!
Well, I just wanted to let everyone know that I made it. I have to get the unpacking done and I'm such a goof on this computer. I hate those touch pads on laptops! I always end up messing up whatever I'm working on! I need to figure out a surface other than my lap I can set the computer on so I can use my mouse!! :)
